The tuning device connects to your vehicle's OBD-II port and communicates with the ECU. It allows you to upload custom settings (or “tunes”) to adjust your engine's performance. These devices also allow for data logging, diagnostics, and monitoring of engine performance.
Included in this kit is the HP Tuner, which allows you to unlock the ECM on 2017–2023 Chevy/GMC Duramax L5P vehicles. This tuner comes with an ECM unlock tool, enabling you to unlock the ECM directly through the vehicle’s OBD-II port. This eliminates the need to purchase and install a pre-unlocked ECM, reducing costs and simplifying the installation and tuning process.
